BATHING FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY, WITH AN AGREEABLE WATER TEMPERATURE OF 29°C.

Our hotel's private indoor swimming pool, offering wonderful views of the Arlberg mountains, is filled with Lech spring water.

Floor and side massage jets, plus a jacuzzi area, encourage relaxation, whilst more active swimmers can clock up the lengths, and children can splash around to their heart's content.

Since our generously proportioned 9x8m swimming pool is open from 07.30 – 21.30, there is plenty of time and space for bathers of every age.

The effects of the sauna on health are very important. As a rule, everybody can safely enjoy the sauna if they feel ok about it.

Some additional care should be taken if the bather has a history of low blood pressure or is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, since these can strengthen the effects of the sauna.

How to use a sauna:

  • Start by taking a shower. This helps to keep the hot room clean.
  • Enter the sauna and sit on the upper bench. You have to use a towel to sit on.
  • Sit back for a few minutes and let the heat permeate your body and open the pores of your skin.
  • You may adjust the air moisture by throwing water on the stones of the heater. The steam will make the room feel hotter.
  • Step into the changing room to cool down, maybe take another shower.
  • You may go back to the heat a few times, taking your time to relax and enjoy the warmth.
  • Finally shower to clean yourself from the sweat.
  • Allow you to cool and dry properly before clothing yourself.
  • Follow the sauna with a peaceful rest and a drink.

The temperatures in a sauna are between 85 und 95°C. The air can be relatively dry, or water can be sprinkled over the stones to increase humidity.

Sauna light is basically the same like a Finnish sauna. The temperature is just less, around 50°C to 60 °C. The air moisture will get about 45%.

Sole bath has a mixture of salt and water. The temperature is about 45°C. It has positive affects regarding respiratory tract and mucous membrane.

For how long you are going sun bathing depends on your skin. In the beginning you shouldn’t have more than 1 sun bathing a day.

It is very important to protect your eyes whilst sun bathing. To get a nice tan take off all your jewelleries and make up. Never use sun crème, only after you finished you may put some crème on.

Price: 15min Euro 6,00 (coins you will get at the reception)

The temperatures in the steam bath are of the order of 40 to 50°C. The air moisture gets almost 100%. Also steam opens the pores.

The skin gets enough moisture and your skin will be finer and sleeker.

In an IR sauna an infrared radiator is used to send heat directly to the skin of the bather in the form of radiated heat (infrared electromagnetic radiation, essentially the same kind of radiated heat we get from the sun or a hot light bulb). This radiation is invisible to the naked eye. It is also entirely harmless - as a matter of fact, just about everything radiates infrared waves, in more or less intense ways.

When infrared rays hit your skin, they transfer heat energy to it. Your skin temperature goes up and you react by starting to sweat. The health benefits usually claimed (for both kinds of saunas) include improved blood circulation and hence a stronger cardiovascular system, a cleansing of the body, and finally loss of weight. Locally administered infrared is used as a treatment for some skin diseases and tissue traumas with varying success.

The most successful use so far seems to be the application of infrared rays to help ease the joint pain and stiffness of arthritis patients. Here infrared has several benefits over conductive heat transfer (hot wrap etc). Infrared radiation penetrates the skin while it is being absorbed. In effect, it heats the skin and muscle tissue from the inside. This is very much a benefit for arthritis patients, whose pain is often very common.

The core of the heated lounger is a special storage stone and a water-carrying module tube. Promotes blood circulation without burdening the circulation.

Soothes the nervous system and helps reduce stress and recovery.

Relaxation for body and soul - pain relief and disease prevention through massage.
